In White People We Trust
07.26.04 (12:02 pm)   [edit]
The opinion of Billy Strohman does not necessarily reflect the opinion of any real people.

There's been a lot of morons lately who are ignorant of history and want what they call "equal" rights for blacks. Well, I've got news. America is a white nation. Always has been.

Lets take a look at some quotes by our founders:

""Comparing them by their faculties of memory, reason, and imagination,
it appears to me that in memory they are equal to the whites; in reason
much inferior, as I think one could scarcely be found capable of tracing
and comprehending the investigations of Euclid; and that in imagination
they are dull, tasteless, and anomalous.""- Thomas Jefferson

"[The founders thought blacks were] so far inferior, that they had no rights which the white man was bound to respect."- Supreme Court

""I agree with Judge Douglas that he [a black] is not my equal in many respects, certainly not in color — perhaps not in intellectual and moral endowments;"-Abraham Lincoln

"The first immigration act of the United States--which was written by the same founding fathers who wrote our Declaration of Independence and our Constitution--limited immigration strictly to white European Christians. In the Federalist papers John Jay repeatedly talks about the common brotherhood we have with Europeans. Thomas Paine's Common Sense talks about how we are all European brothers."- David Duke

In America you have the freedom to be whatever race you want. But you can't expect not to encounter favored treatment towards whites. If I lived in Zaire, I would expect favored treatment towards blacks.

If you get offended whenever you have to use a special drinking fountain or see "In White People We Trust" on our government's money, thats your right to be offended. But if you are so insecure about your race that you can't even handle a little discrimination, that's your problem. Segregation never made anyone change the color of your skin. Thats what equality means- you can be black. It doesn't mean we can't honor the fact that America was founded by White people upon White values and is a White nation.
